Genesis 1:26, 27

Why doesn't God seem fair?

He said that it's not fair that bad people are getting rich and good people aren't.

"God, why don't You do something?"

1. We are victims of a broken world.

When sin entered the world, there were punishments and consequences because of that sin.

John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble.”

“But take heart, I have overcome the world.”

Being a Christian does not keep you from facing the influence of difficulty in the world in which we live.

2. Maybe you brought it on yourself.

There are direct consequences for a sinful, prideful, unruly life.

Galatians 6:7 says, "Do not be deceived; God is not mocked."

3. Maybe God wants to do something supernatural.

“Why ”

John 9:3, Jesus said, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned."

“But this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.”

“What you meant for evil, God used for good.”

There is a Sunday in your future.

4. When bad things are happening, God is doing something in you.

James 1:2-3 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."

We've been overlooked and talked about, and we have born that burden of difficulty.

God reaches down and brings a resolve and a maturity in our spirit that money cannot buy.

I've seen times when difficult things happen and because we stayed true to God, He brought a result that brought Him glory.

Look at what the Lord has done!

“My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?”

But it was necessary for you and me to have redemption.

God's love surpasses any of the pain that we experience, and we can say “God is good!!!”
