1. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
It's about having a direction in life.
1. He'll get you back on your feet.
We get ourselves into situations that we can't fix.
He will not give up on you.
2. He'll get you moving in the right direction.
What do you see with your short-distance vision?
You can be sure that he guiding your steps in the way they
should go.
God will give you a vision of what he wants to accomplish in your life.
God wants each of us to have a vision for what we can create
and build with our lives.
Essential to purpose, and essential to long-term vision, is
having short-term direction.
His Word offers correction and direction for the steps we take.
3. He'll use you to make a difference in the world you live in...for his glory.
Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. (Psalm 106:8)
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. (1 John 2:12)
God does it to demonstrate who he is.
He wants to use you to change people's lives and to bring him glory.
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way..." (Isaiah 53:6)
The goal is to experience, even in the midst of stressful times, the presence of Christ and his peace in your life.
1. Memorize Psalm 23:3.
2. Practice Spiritual Breathing.
3. Begin each day with a request for guidance.
4. End each day with a moment of reflection.
