1 Corinthians 12:12-31
Our love and commitment to Christ should over ride any differences we have.
"We are parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others." (Romans 12:5)
We're not just a random group of individuals each going our own way and doing our own thing.

1. We Respect One Another.
  • We're not carbon copies of anyone else.
  • Let's do this with everyone.
2. We “Feel” for Each Other.
  • The word is empathy.
  • If one part of the body hurts, the whole body hurts.
  • This leads to people being judgmental, condescending, and apathetic towards others.
3. We need each other.
  • "All You Need is Love"
  • "The disease of me leads to the defeat of us."
  • None of us is more important than all of us.
  • You're the ones we can't live without.
  • Those who help.
  • Those who lead.
  • Those who are willing to serve and those who are willing to lead.
  • Because we need each other more than we realize.
  • Opportunity to serve.
  • Opportunity to lead.
  • No one ever asked me to leave.
  • "It actually just hit me, I don't think I heard his name mentioned."
  • Going to church has made me a better Christian.
  • "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35)
  • Being part of the church gives us an identity and a purpose.
  • From one another we maximize our effectiveness, strength and worth.
  • Being connected increases our effectiveness.
  • Being connected increases our worth.
  • Connection. Equality. Reconciliation.
  • Our mission is to change the world by changing lives.
