John 9:1-41

"Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

"Yes. It's me. I'm the one."

One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see.

You are recognizing Him as He speaks to you.

His story teaches us how God wants to work in our lives.

1. God Is Ready to Be Part of Your Story

"Less than"

His life became a place where the glory of God could be revealed.

The truth is that all of us have parts of our story we might want to edit out.

For Him, no person is "less than."

2. He Will Give You Something to Cling To

He refuses to be intimidated.

This was the truth he would cling to.

"You can't argue with a changed life."

We are Christians because at some point we have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.

One thing I know

God gives us these moments to cling to throughout our lives.

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." (Hebrews 6:19)

He will give you that one-thing-I-know assurance upon which you can build your life.

3. He Wants You to Take the Next Step With Him.

"And he worshiped Him."

His understanding of Jesus kept growing.

With each step we take, He deepens our understanding of who He is.

God stepped into this man's story and gave him something to cling to.

God is so ready to step into the stories of so many lives.
