Psalm 23:1-6

But only IF you allow it to.

Jesus Himself is the one watching over my life.

We are never aimless or alone!

This is where most of LIFE is actually lived.

People are not our enemies.

Without forgiveness, bitterness is all that's left!

Forgiveness is not foolishness.

Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Forgiveness is setting the captive bird free and then realizing that you were the captive bird!

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32).

You can choose to put away your hurts before they become hates.

#1. The Lie of Comparison

You have been so faithful to God, and you never seem to catch a break.

1. Look at what you have, not what you don't have.

2. Measure your life in terms of blessings, not possessions.

3. What you really need will come to you when you really need it.

#2. The Lie That You’re Doomed

Hopeless

We may walk into the valley, but we will also WALK OUT!!!!

Psalm 77:19 Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters though your footprints were not seen.

God's nature doesn't change.

#3. The Lie of Worthlessness

I'm not good enough and I never will be.

Then there's nothing worthless about your life.

Why then can you not get past your past.

I'm not going to let my fear of the unknown prevent me from experiencing joy in my walk with God today.

#4. The Lie Of Me Against The World

But the Good Shepherd wants to protect you from those lies, deception and hurt.

#5. The Lie That There’s No Way Out

No path forward.

Since God is in control, we have hope.

They become inescapably and irreversibly hopeful.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 NIV)

BUT God has everything that is surrounding you...surrounded!!

You are not destined for defeat.

Hope understands that what's happening in your life right now is just one scene in the overall story.

To be more than a conqueror means that you stay in the fight as long as it takes.

Hope empowers you to live with the expectation that the verdict of tomorrow will reverse the verdict of today.

Calculated hope says, Devil you have NO SEAT at my table!!!
